We have been reading Charlotte's web and have just learned about Charlotte's sneaky plan to save Wilbur from becoming Christmas ham!

As part of our study on Farm Animals we have been creating some Power-Point presentations.

Zippity Zoo Farm and More

On Wednesday we went to Zippity Zoo.  We met the sheep and Farmer Bea. The sheep's wool was clean and soft. We fed the sheep with hay - Esther 

Yesterday when we went to Zippity Zoo I saw baby chicks that were just born with their mum and we saw the cracked eggs... - Lakaia

At Zippity Zoo we went to pat the donkeys. Then we went to pat the sheep and they feel woolly. -Ruiha

...I got to play with the pets. I got to see ponies, sheep, cats and a dog called Honey. A lamb was as soft as a blanket and we got to go with the Principal Mr D. -Hakaraia

Yesterday we went to Zippity Zoo. we saw goats, turkeys, donkeys, and ponies. There were baby lambs, chickens, a nice farmer and guinea pigs, cows and sheep and Charlotte's web! ... but no pigs. It was fun. we saw baby chicks and egg shells. There was also poo! The best part was feeding the animals. -Jayden

Yesterday I woke up for school. When I got to school I was so excited! Finally we are going to the pools. First I got in the little pool and then I went in the big pool. - Leon

                          

Yesterday our class went to the Otaki Pool. And after that excitement we had an ice cream and my flavour was Cookies and Cream. And we had so much fun. - Dante'


Made It!

Yesterday we went in the scary pool. There was a cool surf mat and it wiggled when we jumped on it. - Kaia
 Yesterday we went to the pools and we had the inflatable slide with spikes on it. The first time I went on it I had SUCCESS! After the pools we went to the park and we got to have an ice cream.  We got to choose from three kinds of ice cream and we had a play.

 On Reward Day we walked all the way to the pools. We got on our togs. We got in the pool and we swam. First I was scared but I was brave and I played on the inflatable. Then it was time to go to the park and I played on the tyre then I played on the swing and I almost forgot my ice cream! - Jayden

5 voted for pizza making and a movie and 14 voted for pools and a picnic lunch so we are off to Haruatai pools next Thursday.
